Local History & Stories

These articles offer a closer look at the people, places, organizations and events which shaped the Town of De Kalb and surrounding area. Most of the articles were written by the current Historian, Bryan Thompson, but a number were written by local individuals or publications. The graphics, documents, and photographs that accompany the articles, are part of the historian's archival collection.
