1807 Town Meeting Minutes... printed on 8.5" X 14" paper.
Transcription of meeting notes
Learning Objectives: The students will:
1. Gather information about the Town Meeting of 1807 from meeting notes.
2. Identify the responsibilities of the various town officers elected in 1807.
3. Calculate the percentage of the total voting population who held public office in 1807.
4. Compare and contrast the jobs done by town officials today with those done by town officials in 1807.
